I tend to favor hoyt bows but given the same choice I’d choose the Mathews. I had a vertix and it was a great bow, I’ve shot the torrex and they’re nice, not Mathews flagship nice but very nice. Quivers: Mathews has a new quiver that is close to the riser. Hoyt has a similar option but is adjustable to help balance the bow to the shooters preference. If I had to choose a winner here, it'd be Hoyt. Hoyt has the lower mounted stab, which is a great feature. Ventum has shims, which I despise.
