I’ve got an application almost done but I doubt the worth of the program, so I’m not sure if I should submit (a 60 dollar fee!!). It’s a whopping 4k for a program not even in person.1 answer. UCSC SIP is more highly regarded by colleges because it is a research internship program with an equity focus. While the COSMOS program is certainly regarded well too, it is more similar to traditional college summer school programs than SIP and does not offer the same level of hands-on research opportunities.
