I did not remove the large c-clip that relates the timing, as I understand it. Basically the front seal, head o-ring, miscellaneous o-rings and gasket on the top cover etc..

The 6000 I have has been a very good tractor. Yes the pump was juiced up, and it does have a nicer seat than the factory. I did install hydrostatic steering, but over all it is one stronger puller. Comfortable to drive and very quiet.
