On October 12 the Museum will be open from 13.00 to 19.00. On 24 and 31 December the Museum will be open from 10.00 to 15.00. The Museum is closed on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December. The Thyssen’s extensive collection contains nearly 1,000 works of art.It is managed by the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection Foundation, an institution set up when the Spanish government purchased the collection from the Thyssen-Bornemisza family in July 1993. Since 2004, it also houses the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection.
